a massive vocal hook, spreading positive vibes and forcing you to dance and sing along. this track will no doubt be just as successful on the radio as it will be on the dancefloor - this is a serious dj weapon!!!
bombstrikes returns with the next instalment in the highly acclaimed volume series. this time the party bombs are from two artists new to the label but who are no strangers to the funky breaks scene, badboe and prosper. the dane and frenchman have already established themselves as key players with a slew of floor rocking releases and dj shows…now they team up with the hottest label around and as you would expect the results do not disappoint!

ltd 20009 repress !! ndatl muzuik continues with its second release power thru pt 3 from label honcho kai alce with haunting vocals from azulu phantom. this actually has been floating around the waters of atlantis after missing the cut on kai alces debut the kaizer e.p. on tracknmode in 2002. after the original has been played by some the worlds elite larry heard, theo parrish, moodymann, funmi ononaiye, carl craig & karl injex . it now resurfaces with a new redefined energy from frances mush, who approaches power thru pt 3 with a new refreshing classic minimal feel that brings new life to kais already timeless chords & production. mush teams up with saxophonist daniel brothier to give you a dub very reminiscent of the conversation. the 12 is rounded off with more 2 come which its deepness embodies its title
incl delete remix !! big with martinez, paco osuna, cirillo, okain, yakine, italoboyz, danny tenaglia, samuel l session, butch, anthony collins, john digweed, varoslav, gorge, 2000andone, peter kruder, slam, sian, technasia, hernan cattaneo, einzelkind, nick curly, seuil, luke slater, karotte, richie hawtin, ...
a1) aller retour. indeed we do like it very much, when a tune is like a punch – and this one pushes tremendous. underlaid with a sharp kick later, the strongly-held bass line involving from a small stream to an all-compelling stream. on top we receive a very un-christian boot with some oriental like organ-pipes. what more can you expect. oh by the way- there is actually a river in lower saxony with the same name like the track – however has nothing to do with it. b1) nevermind. indicate left and right over. and then a lob shot instead of a straight shot. this is a little what nevermind feels like. an assault from the deep, with a soft climax rather than with brute force. our recommendation for phasing out after an extensive club night
hot on the heals of the incredible radial album, the bas mooy double ep and the various artists release on number 70. planet rhythm is proud to present: a.paul. this man is hot and you all know it! especially for planet rhythm his most bouncy tracks were selected to please the crowd. this is pure techno like it should be!!
big with carl cox, michel de hey, gel abril, slam, hernan cattaneo, kenny larkin, sasse, jamie stevens,... hell yeah proudly welcome on board enzo elia, a producer who genulily restores our faith into free range house music, if house is a feeling then enzo elia is going to touch your heart with this new 12 after his recent releases for be as one, lion1 and youngodds. we are not going to bore you with a long list of supporters or useless descriptions, just feel free to choose your favourite version between the peak time beat driven vocal main mix or the absolultely tripped out and moody afrologic version. if you love house music we are sure you are going to dig this! hell yeah!
techhead toolbox is a vinyl series concept brought to you by techhead recordings based on the idea that the most basic tools are simple machines. the audible result aims in crossing the line between techno as we know it and techno as we dont. each record is inspired by the usage of different tools and each tool plays a significant role in each record. the always innovative duo of john karagiannis and paylipservice (techhead recordings, soulaccess, relatives, techment) put out tonsil guillotine while perc remixes this special gem. the surreal scissors was already great, this is even better! get into the concept!
no matter what sounds you profess to be your dance music of choice, chances are that at some point over the last five years, you will have gotten your rocks off to matt edwards aka radio slave. in that time matt has remixed countless tunes for an incredibly-wide selection of notable labels. to boot, his touring schedule must be almost painful. so it was with great pleasure that om was able to enlist his talents to compose a tune especially for our 15 year anniversary compilation. to cut straight to the chase, orchestrating maneuvers in the dark is a rhythmic deep tribal techno groove - obscure, dissident and crunchy - with a breakdown that dissolves into thin air - only to strangely and magnificently re-materialize into his funk-induced groove.
ich rieche blut is the hardtechno project by fiv from spain. for the third release he comes hard on the a1 track with his samples from hell and his beats that will even scare the demons away! talking about demons with jason little on the a2 you know you will run to your mommy! fergis from spain on the b1 is the main man from spain with his successfull killfactory records, hard stuff.. motormorfoses is last on this ep and he is the one with the off beat hard techno flavour, fresh!
past, present & future all wrapped into one... we are very happy to welcome the newest members to the citydeep family, and straight off there smash hit for sole channel records. dasoul, fabry diglio & m.a.d. boss brings a brand new jam that moves in between deep and soulful house with out a missing beat! moon in taurus kicks it off with a dark and dirty feel but before it has worked its magic you have moved through deep and soulful to take listener on a ride. play this one loud and watch the dancefloor come together as one!
moxie takes you on an outer space 80s electro jam. theres the uptempo female version and the more mid tempo male version. warning... dance, break and party invasion!!
after the great effort of alex flatners feat lopazz >perfect circles< like the >sound of the 9th season< licensing for sven väths cocoon compilation series or the >the lab< licensing by loco dice (damian schwartz remix), circle music decided to release a new remix package of the track. we are proud to present you great interpretations by joey beltram, ken ishii, cess and elephants & lollipops.
as the days get darker so shall the music, so on that note we welcome back the fold moscows own polymorphic with the ever turbulent rock on ep. this time out polymorphic delivers the goods with 3 new tracks, rock on, scream & move faster. the ep also features a remix of the title track by marseille who also had a hand it turning out proxys raven last year. this ep is not for the feight at heart. both mixes of rock on tear things up with a decidely old school electro undercurrent while keeping things noisy and agressive on the top end. and there s only one thing we can really say about the last two tracks because they are that scary... scream will make you move faster.
for the second cassius records and to carry on with the youth speed, trouble, cigarettes adventure we give you four remixes done by talented producers across europe from milano italy… reset! we met the three kids from reset! in magazinni generale while playing, their set was powerfull but also full of respect and influences from hip hop, soul and dance music in general, we finished our sets back to back and since this day love them their trouble mix could have been done by the jbs if they were still twenty something and into house music… it rocks and never stopsno use to present the music from radio slave, the big difference with a majority of other producers is that we both can recognise his tracks in a few bars only, also in the way it streches to crazy length and takes you in a trance that could have come directly from lagos in 1973 matt embrace the same philosophy we all cherish at cassius records the no boundarys way hes more than minimal, more than electro more than techno he stripped down ystc to the max and his remix played at the good time on a good system is a true chicagoan infused gem then after chaos
deep detroit style original mix in co-op with ronald christoph from berlin plus benno blome (sender) and stev cole (schallbox) remixes. 3 very different takes to make you want to move while the lashings of analogue synth sounds are warm wnough to make you leave your wooles at home as you head out to your fav club this winter!
this is a long awaited release on theomatic from a russian-born (now czech-based) house-quartet d-pulse. this definitely should have happened before as all d-pulse members and theomatic’s commander andrei zakharov (an-2) are fellow-townsmen and have known each over many years. d-pulse are known for their expressive live performances (guitar, bass and keys), everything you hear they play live and their unique vibe can shake any audience, be it hip moscow cuties or shy hick-town chicks. the band’s hectic schedule has put this ep on hold for several months, but at last guys managed to organize themselves and lay final touches to the production. the a-side is a mellow, spaced-out disco jam called ‘prekrasna’ - the russian for ‘beautiful’, especially when referred to ladies. the dancefloor-aimed ‘moments’ on the flip side starts off with hypnotic, dubbed-out guitar and atmospheric synths laid over fat house beat. it gradually leads to the breakdown followed by guitar driven blast-off and takes you to the orbital heights from wherever you are.
nice price deal !!! produkt schallplatten is back in action after a brief hiatus with a new vinyl ep called >let’s get the band back together< think accidental meeting between a robot jam band and tito puente in detroit. on acid. at sunrise. or simply imagine the result of some real-time, unhurried jam sessions between some highly talented heads, edited to perfection with only the dancefloor in mind. o there you have it: three dope tracks generated by santos resiak, miguel colmenares, shadi megallaa, alland byallo, hector pizarro, red kite, seb steimel, walker and label boss sebastian herre. strictly limited to 300 copies, hand numbered.
a classically-trained jazz virtuoso and national rock n roll hero in argentina, gutis double 12inch pack for desolat will leave you in no doubt of his ability to twist a snaking groove into something echoingly hypnotic. the tracks contained here are already a favourite in the record boxes of artists like loco dice, carl cox and marco carola, while gutis life story could itself be the subject of a story by jorge luis borges: >i leave to several futures (not to all) my garden of forking paths<. just two years after his first live sets in europe, desolat is proud to present gutis las cosas que no se tocan. the beats follow guti across continents: mr good vibes was composed in a hotel room in stuttgart after an argument with a friend, while the serious dancefloor vibes of sasa, the hustler and ieuuu were channelled in martinez studio. ieuuu and the hustler feature slices of glamorous, haunting vocals by jayson walker, a british singer that guti discovered on myspace. and sasa boasts gutis own vocal touches. meanwhile, the track aguanile is inspired by one of his favourite melodies as a child, one that he’s collected many versions of. the last track on the release, el campeon, reaches a bittersweet ending in the wide open space between percussive trills and a cut-out refrain, inspired by gutis favourite latin storylines of broken hearts and pain.
first extract from the album of one of the most talked about electro act of the moment. including remixes from john talbot (recomended old skool feel good...)
with the huge stormtrooper and amok release still fresh in the memory its time for the new one on amoks flagship. during his numerous dj sets all over the world he has the option to test all this new tracks he gets from so many good producers in the world. this time he collects the best of them and puts it all on one ep. a various artists ep selected and tested by the man himself. what else do you want!
this 12inch features heist, which puts you behind the wheel in an explosive hi nrg car chase, and russian boat commander, which could be described as progressive cossack disco. together they take you on an epic voyage of mystery.
to all those unaware of the electro clash scene here in nyc im going to let you in on it. basically its the 80s revival with a tech edge. this is an electro clash kids wet dream. all the hits redone with stronger drums and tighter production for the soundsystems of today. ill heavy metal new wave electric boogie mashed together on 2 disks.
a sick collection of secret armand van helden cut and paste 80s tracks. lots of nu wave stuff going on with big euro samples getting van heldens midas touch. twins of pleasure is the favourite cut, with its pulsing retro bassline line and banging drums. the hilarous ktu track is another goody that wrecks a freestyle sample with ny radio station ktu ids on it. with all the current interest in the 80s, this is a really fun take on the idea.
already played by efdemin, akufen, mathias kaden, jimpster, frivolous, magda, jeff samuel, kez ym, mathias schaffhäuser, tomboy and more... strong gymnastic house tunes brought to you straight from the gym. pumping iron by brandt brauer frick… and 1 and 2 and 3! brandt brauer frick produce club music with self-recorded acoustic instruments (prepared piano, vibraphone, drums, various per- cussions, brass and string instruments), rhodes, bass guitar and few analogue synthesizers, as heard on their ep „iron man“ (incl. remixes by lee jones and treplec) or at their great performance at berghain last month. for the gym they have made two rather untypical house tracks, using more synths than they usually would, celebrating a more gymnastic dancefloor approach. enjoy!
throughout the life of bbe very few djs have left a long last impression on our ethos - real music for real people. vincent williams is one of a few active djs today whose versatility and all round knowledge covers so much ground.
first release from this exciting new spanish label focused on future synth beats with enough funk to appease george clinton. this is the first release too for the spanish beatmaker hybakusha, a pioneer of the skweee sound in spain. gameboy lover is a noisy 8 bit robotic skweee track which mixes chip tune drums and cutting edge filtered synths in a crazy groove. on the other side there is a mesak remix of the same track. for those of you who have been napping for the last few years, mesak is one half of the electro outfit mr velcro fastener, he has released solo material on dexters klakson label and is one of the most prominent heads on the skweee scene. his remix treatment takes the track into more spacey and deep territory, giving this record the official and personal stamp of the finnish skweee.
s.c.u.m. is back and with a plate that ll rock you right off your socks! none other then zero g has been selected to drop his long lost ransom tune that has been cained by almost all the bigshots and even was featured in ruskos essential mix! now this tune finally sees the light of day and ready to rock the dance floors on a global scale. dj nicon of rotterdams subway crew was big fan of this tune from the start and was surprised this never got a release. so naturally this got scooped for his personal scum imprint asap! and of course no release is finished without a suitable b side so flip it over for scorpion! a brand new club banger that delivers the dubstep sound ever so crispy! if your into the heavy side of dubstep then get on this!! play support: skream, benga, walsh, marlow, seven, 501, reso, matt-u etc.
time for the next various artists ep introducing 3 upcoming producers to the scene. from italy comes guiseppe cennamo with a powerful deep/techhouse track building a great athmosphere in the club. greeck guy bengoa delivers a really warm building up deephouse track with a nice vocal line by julie naked showing the coolness of sunny greece at least mr. carlos sanchez & dj ray from gran canaria! like is based on a deep organ bassline building up to an amazing break with a catchy melody. listened once, you wont get this track out of your ears

with the huge stormtrooper and amok release still fresh in the memory its time for the new one on amoks flagship. during his numerous dj sets all over the world he has the option to test all this new tracks he gets from so many good producers in the world. this time he collects the best of them and puts it all on one ep. a various artists ep selected and tested by the man himself. what else do you want!

after surprising belgium and the rest of the world with their >zoopah dupah< and >heads up< eps, sound of stereo is back with a new, fresh sound best described as >something you should hear for yourself<.
in the past few months sound of stereo has been all over the place. not only have they played every large festival and venue in belgium & holland, their tracks have also been picked up by big names such as bloody beetroots, steve aoki, mstrkrft, armand van helden, crookers, congorock, jokers of the scene and many, many more.

who would have thought it, techno djs playing filtered house... well, earlier this year it happened, and it was pittos >feelin< that caused the sensation. the original and superb dub, has gone on to become one of the biggest club releases of 2009.whispered rumour of a remix package has abound, and these were confirmed with early copies of a district one remix finding support amongst the dutch elite.well now its time to confirm the rumour, and not only bring you the district one remix, but bolster the package with a devastating remix from the master, joris voorn. edwin oosterwal and voorns rejected label keep on delivering the hits. long may it continue!

kraken are rolling again, with their second release in as many weeks (check out krkn009), and its good to have the denmark based dons back! very little is known about a side artist and la resident jaybird, but im sure plenty of people will be on the hunt for info after this little number drops. absolutely relentless, crushing dubstep music, a refreshingly nasty little number reminiscent in atmosphere to one of krakens earliest releases eye of the demon by wolfman (jsl), this tune is currently tearing up clubs worldwide, with support from 2000f and notably featuring on hatcha & crazy ds kiss fm radio show, you re gunna love this one! legendary kraken artist jsl pops up on the flip with a brand new beat, kept relatively under wraps this one comes out of nowhere and smacks is straight round the chops like kimbo slice! act quickly on this one, it wont last.
you may not have heard so much from andre (aka &me) so far. instead of the flash and glitter associated with most of his producer colleagues, hes preferred to stay in the shadows, co-producing and ghost writing for artists like dj hell and terranova. now after putting out his first solo single on keinemusik, which was supported by all the key players (front room label boss jesse rose, luke solomon, gabriel ananda, danny tenaglia and dubfire plus many more) &me is finally ready to go public as they say. he may have taken some time to figure out his own style of blending techno and house music but now hes out theres really no escape. with a name like an attention deficit childs mantra its a wonder he stayed in so long. the on ep is an excursion into the type of techno dusted pulsating minimal house that has been so big for artists like luciano esse and arnaud le texier and which is heard on heavy rotation in berlin meccas like bar25. with a side on ever present digital squelches (reminiscent of a rolf harrris style wobble board) are laid over shakers, stripped-back beat and the familiar on vocal. its not hard to understand why tiefschwarz have been rinsing it for quite some time now as a huge afterhours groover. b side talking days, swimming in lush deep techno elements, weaves through more melodic territory but is no less infectious
>minimal is cool but in the long term a bit too unsexy!< this statement of marcel knopf that is by now quite old, shows his heart does not beat for one genre after all. after the first and more technoid single release from his album >dusty dance< monsieur knopf satisfies his longing for real house with single no.2 >crazy about<. r&b singer camaras soulful voice leaves quite an impression on this powerful beat. in >skinny bitches< marcel knopf processes insane nights: you just want to drink a beer in your favourite pub but then you meet a couple of friends and they take you to the worst disco in town. this high-energy track is uncompromising and must be played during peak time and not during warm-up sets or after-hours.
